How did you develop the idea to use lace?
-When I first started The Rowdy Rose custom hats were my focus but being a creative person I was always
toying around with different materials and ideas. One thing lead to another and I put lace on my own personal
saddle pad the feedback I got was amazing and I started taking custom orders for Saddle pads which
lead into tack and so much more!
What process do you use to apply the lace to leathers?
- I am a very detailed person, I take great pride in my work and creations but I really like to play around
with new textures. So I started testing out the lacy and different layers but I can't go into too much detail.
I can tell you though it is a 5 step process to ensure the lace will never be affected.
Why is the lace able to withstand wear and tear throughout the years without rubbing off?
-It is part of the last 3 steps that we do to the material to make it so durable.
Will the lace hold up against weather such as hours in the sun and possibly even some time in the rain?
Will the dyes you use of the leather of the pads and lace dye or rub off on my saddle?
Is the lace applied by hand?
-Yes. Most of our pieces are all hand made
Do you guarantee your products?
-At The Rowdy Rose we stand behind all of our product so Yes.
What if by some chance to lace did rub off after a short period of time?
- We have gone to great lengths to ensure that the lace will last the test of time.
But if some change the lace rubbed off we would make sure that you are taken care
Is it possible to request the lace in different colors?
-Yes. We could apply any color lace and almost all types of materials to the wear leathers.
